Grilled T-Bone Steaks

Summer is here.


1/2 cup water

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons canola oil

1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

1/4 teaspoon pepper

4 beef T-bone steaks (1-inch thick and 3/4 pound each)



In a shallow dish, combine the first 10 ingredients. Add steaks and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight.


Drain and discard marinade. Grill steaks, covered, over medium heat for 8-12 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°).
